Dealing With Your Herpes

Although it is known that the herpes virus cannot be banished from the body, the purpose of herpes treatment is to suppress or to make the virus dormant for as long as possible. This can be called the main goal of herpes treatment. There is a minor but not much less important goal – to minimize the impact that brings the symptoms of the disease, to bring a relief to outbreaks.

There are two types of herpes simplex virus (HSV) HSV-1 and HSV-2; the first type is mainly known as oral herpes, while the second one is genital herpes. The difference between them is not only in their area of distribution, but in the methods and remedies used; the problem is that some medicines that can be good for treating the oral herpes, have less to no effect in the case of genital herpes.

First step to do when you experience herpes symptoms like tender lymph nodes in the groin, swollen, throat and under the arms, headache accompanied by fever, some flu-like symptoms, is to consult with your physician. Well, if you know what to do you obviously can omit this step. But such consultation can help you to find out about the available options of herpes cures. Often it is an over the counter herpes treatment (OTC), which means that you get a prescription medicine that is usually some drug, quite effective to fight the symptoms of the disease.

There are two main forms of OTC products: topical serums and supplements. Topical solutions may come in a form of cream, spray or gel. The purpose of these remedies is to suppress the current outbreak; they cannot effectively stop the virus from producing outbreaks. Among famous brands we can mention Dynamiclear that can effectively reduce symptoms of an outbreak and shorten the time needed for the healing of herpes sores.

The supplements are better in suppressing the herpes virus, because they have active ingredients that increase the strength of the immune system and suppress the virus. Here we can mention such medications as ibuprofen (Advil, Medipren, Motrin, and Nuprin), aspirin, acetaminophen (Datril, Tylenol, or Panadol) – they can minimize the tenderness and agony of an outbreak and reduce fever.

While taking all the remedies can be effective, you can make it even more effective by improving your health in general: start eat a healthier food, minimize or try to avoid smoking and alcohol drinking, implement a regular physical exercise into your daily life. These things seem to be simple, but they can add a lot to the over the counter herpes treatment, and make it more effective.

How Do I Lose Weight? 5 Tips That Should Help

Apart from death and taxes, there are two things in life which are essential to success. You must want it with a passion, and you must stick to it.

You want to earn lots of money on the Internet? Then you must be in front of that screen every day, whenever you have the time. Learn all you can and put it into practice. You’ll fail. Start again. That, I’m afraid, is how life goes.

You want to lose weight? Same thing, only you won’t be in front of a computer screen. But to even start to succeed, you must want to become slim more than anything else. It can’t be just a passing fancy.

“Must be nice to be slim, like that woman on TV. I think I’ll go on a diet.” No.

“I’ve had enough of being overweight. I know it’ll be a rocky road. Sometimes I’ll slip up, but this time, I will lose weight and overcome my obesity issue.” Yes. Now you’re talking!

Nothing worth attaining is easy, but I hope that these 5 tips will help you. They’re not sugar coated, (no pun intended!), but do you or don’t you want to lose weight? “How do I lose weight or get an obesity treatment?” did I hear you say?

1. Imagine Always That You’re Slim.

Keep that picture in front of you at all times. When you reach for that carton of ice cream, it’ll be lovely going down… and then what? A couple or three extra pounds will appear. A slim person can get away with this. You can’t — yet. If you really do feel hungry, try drinking a glass of water. Really and truly, this helps no end.

2. Continued Motivation. Be Kind To Yourself.

Suppose you and a friend were climbing a hill that you’d both tried to climb before, but failed. This time, you’re determined. Your friend’s right behind you, and you reach the top. You hear a little cry, and turn to see your friend has slipped a bit, but has jammed her foot against a clump of grass. She’s fine, but fed up.

“I’ll never reach the top. I’m giving up trying.” What would you say to her?

“You’ve slipped a bit, that’s all. You’re so close. Look at me. I’m at the top.”

So all right, you’ve had that taste of ice cream. Don’t beat yourself up over it. You’ve slipped a bit, that’s all.

3. Treat Yourself.

Think of five things you really enjoy that don’t include fats or sugar. Come on, now. There must be something. It needn’t even be food. Just something you thoroughly enjoy.

4. So You’re Slimmer. Now What?

Unfortunately, even when you become slim, you’ll still have bad days at the office, or with the kids, or your spouse. Too many people fall into the trap of turning to the ‘fridge again. Please try not to be one of them.

5. Give Your Digestion A Break. You’re slimmer. Well done! You feel healthier in so many ways. Think of the times you’re not eating as a rest for your digestive system. Believe me, it’ll thank you!
