Average Penis Length – Is There Really an Average?
There is much debate, and even more speculation about what the average penis length is, or if there is even an average at all. The truth is that there is and isn’t an average. There are many factors that play a role in the length and size of a man’s penis. Here are the facts:
- Genes seem to play the biggest role in what determines the length and size of a penis. The term “family jewels” has been used for years in reference to the male counterpart, but when it comes down to determining what to expect, genes play an extremely important part in the matter.
- The average penis length is different among nationalities, but is not to be taken to mean that a man’s nationality will ultimately determine the length and size of his penis. While men of African descent are known to be the most well-endowed of the male species, and Asian men the least fortunate, research has shown that there are countless numbers of men that don’t fall into these categories based on their nationality.
- Hormones are said to determine length and size of the penis, but on the contrary some research has shown that in early fetal development exposure to hormones at this time can speed up penis growth, but ultimately does not increase the size of the penis in adulthood. So, having a large penis, average penis, or small penis is not the result of hormones once you reach adulthood, according to these studies.
- If there was to be a number put on the average penis length, studies have shown that it is about 5.02 inches in length, which is when it is in the form of an erection, or when “stretched” in length. That is determined to be the “overall” average according to research. Averages do vary and things such as nationality, location, environment, and other factors have a lot to do with this.
- Length and size of a man’s penis has always been a concern of most men, and will always continue to be a concern. The size of a man’s penis are attributed with his manhood, just as the size of a woman’s breast contributes to how womanly, or feminine she feels or views herself, and as in the case with women and their breast size, with men, size does matter. Penile size is associated with self-esteem, and self- confidence for a man. The saying: “it’s not the size of the ship, but the motion of the ocean” holds little merit for a man who has trouble with the size of his male member.
- The truth is 80% of women expressed the importance, or more so their preference in being with a man who has a penis of average length, or better. The only thing left to question is, what is actually considered “average”? It would depend a lot on past experiences, and what an individual considers average, and this could also be based on past lovers or partners. Quite naturally, based on the comparison factor.
- Another truth; there are ways in which a man can increase his penis, in size, as well as length. Safe, cost-effective, natural methods that have been proven to produce desirable results for men. These methods date back to times before there were prescription drugs, pumps, and surgical methods. Used by men in other countries to achieve their desired penis length and size, and is growing popularity at a rapid amongst the men in the United States.
Bottom line men want to be praised and admired for their abilities inside and outside of the bedroom. They want to feel confident in attracting the opposite sex, and keeping them attracted. Men need to be successful in all that they set out to do, in all that they set out to accomplish. Men go to great lengths to avoid embarrassment. Penis length and size are serious contributing factors to a man’s confidence and ability to perform up to par. So, yes there is, and isn’t an average. It all depends on who’s asking, who’s asked, who’s telling, and who is told.
